B&F: 2455

ABH: 72.081

Status: Resident

Distribution and Abundance: Scarce, increasing

Record: Pre 1907 Whittlebury (H. Kenyon).

Observations: The original county record is an undated entry amongst records for the year 1907 in, “The Lepidoptera of Northamptonshire.” The moth was stated to have been found on a tree trunk. The species had appeared to increase its range in the years leading up to these 2020 records, having been recorded in neighbouring Vice Counties (including Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Leicestershire).

L.O.N.: Undated. Whittlebury. On tree trunk.

First Record: Pre 1907, Kenyon.
