Status:  Probably now resident

Distribution/Abundance:  Scarce, but expanding range

Primary Habitat:  Wasteground, Gardens

Wingspan:  18-22mm

Flight Period:  Bivoltine (overlapping broods): Mid-April through to October

Observations:  Larvae feed on Goosefoot. Formerly noted only as a rare migrant to the UK, this species now seems to be resident and being recorded locally with increasing frequency.
