Distribution/Abundance:  Rare

Primary Habitat:  Woodland

Wingspan:  11-13mm

Flight Period: May - July

Observations:  There are very few UK records for this species, and therefore little is known about it's habitat requirements. Larvae likely feed within the fruits of Ash, Lime and possibly Elm. The only VC32 record is of a single moth attracted to light in Easton Hornstocks, which was subsequently dissected to prove ID.

Confusion Species:  Other Pammene species can be quite similar. Dissection required.
