Observations: The
larva feeds initially within Sallow catkins, then falling to continue
within leaf litter on the ground, forming a case. Adults are diurnal
and may be seen towards the tops of Sallow trees, around the catkins,
in sunshine.
Confusion Species: Usually no confusion given the early flight period for this species
