Records: 28th May 2026, Higham Ferrers (C. Green) - two individuals recorded. 29th May 2026, Oundle (P. Horsnail).

Observations: This is a rare visitor to the UK, with scattered records over the years since it was first recorded in 1958. There was a significant period of moth migration during May 2026, and the species was recorded quite widely in southern and eastern counties. VC32 moth trappers recorded the species on two occasions during that period. The species occurs abroad in Europe eastwards as well as the Canary Islands and feeds on a range of cultivated and wild plants. One of the two Higham Ferrers moths is pictured above; the Oundle specimen below.
